“I’m dreaming of a Black Christmas….”

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

Here is a video I took of local Country/Folk singer, Emma Black, when she did a gig at The Thirsty Scholar on Thursday 13 December, 2007.

Emma Black LIVE 13/12/07

Even though Emma Black’s performance is professional, I find her MySpaceTM URL is too long = www.MySpace.com/myspacecomemmablack. Can you imagine having to give that out on radio?

After writing that, her page on MySpaceTM looks very good & professional. With a good selection of her music and a picture of her bare legs posted “Phwah!”, I’m sure it will be an enjoyable experience for many.

Emma Black is looking for a manager or agent at present.

Emma is needing a new guitar and her keyboard doesn’t work anymore. If you can donate a new guitar or good second hand fully working keyboard then please contact her at her MySpaceTM address or email: emmablackhere~at~gmail.com

FCUK - the fire!

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

Yesterday afternoon 2 fire engines were called to the FCUK store in St Anne’s Square in the centre of Manchester. The reason was a small explosion in their air ventilation system, situated on the roof, which caused burning to wiring that set off the fire alarm.

The store was closed for a couple of hours and then re-opened.
